Swan at moat
@At the outside moats of the imperial palace, the figure of swan which is always swimming leisurely is seen. These swans are in the characteristic that, in the bill, there is a lump in the bitter orange red in front of the sum.
@More than half century has passed since first setting of swans free at the moats of National Gardens in 1953. At present, 16 swans are to be seen among the moats from the Sakurada-bori moat to the Ote-bori moat, and are fed with their bait once a day. In May, 2007, the birth of a new swan is confirmed at the Ote-bori moat, so 17 swans in all today.
